3 kids charged with school shooting threats. Multiple N.J. schools closed.
Three juveniles have been arrested on charges they posted threats of school shootings on social media, leading multiple districts to cancel classes on Monday .
A 15-year-old from the Mullica Hill section of Harrison, as well as one juvenile from Woodbury and another from Glassboro are charged for threats against multiple schools, Harrison police said.
One of the threats was posted on Instagram about Bowe Middle School in Glassboro, according to borough police.
Deptford’s four schools are closed Monday “out of an abundance of caution and for the safety and security of our entire Deptford Spartan Community,” Superintendent Kevin Kanauss said in a letter Sunday night.
