52-year-old charged with sexually assaulting child, authorities say
A security guard from North Jersey has been charged with the sexual assault of a child, authorities said Tuesday.
Steven Spence, 52, of Englewood, has been charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.
Prosecutors investigated the alleged incident following a report from the Division of Child Protection and Permanency on Friday. Spence was later arrested in Paramus, officials said. Authorities did not disclose the age of the alleged victim.
Every criminal must be punished and every innocent must get justice.
