N.J. man with loaded gun arrested at Newark airport checkpoint, feds say
A New Jersey man was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday after a loaded gun was found in his bag at a security checkpoint, federal authorities said.
The Newark resident’s backpack had a 9mm handgun containing two loaded magazines totaling 30 bullets, the Transportation Security Administration said in a statement Tuesday.
