Woman stabbed ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend at N.J. motel, cops say

A woman stabbed her former boyfriend’s new girlfriend multiple times at an East Brunswick motel before trying to run her over with a car last week, authorities allege.

Quadira Banks, 37, of New Brunswick, was later taken into custody at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick — the same facility where the injured woman was taken for treatment, East Brunswick police said.

The altercation began just after 10 a.m. at Studio 6 on the northbound side of Route 18, according to police. Banks stabbed the woman in the face and body before getting in her own car and trying to drive over the victim twice, officials alleged.
